Currently I am working as a Research Engineer at Caterpillar Inc’s research division. I have a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Missouri-Columbia. I was a research assistant to Dr. Noah Manring and worked towards reducing the loud noise associated with the swash plate type axial piston pumps by attenuating the shaft torque. Earlier, I finished my M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Washington, Seattle. There I worked for 'Design for Environment Laboratory' with Dr. Joyce Cooper and my research focused on 'Design and Manufacturing Analysis of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell'.
